Clear answers with no fine print — products, pricing, setup, contact rates, refunds, and more.

General information

What is Ecomfy? Is it a CRM?

Ecomfy is a platform for buying, receiving, and managing leads and calls from prospects interested in insurance. It is not a full CRM.

Inside the platform you see the lead information, organize statuses, review basic metrics, control campaigns, set schedules, handle payments and manage your lead purchasing.

Calls to the prospect are normally made from your own phone, WhatsApp, SMS, an external dialer or an available integration, depending on the case.

Does Ecomfy sell contact lists?

No. Ecomfy does not sell lists.

Leads are generated live through active ad campaigns: the prospect fills out a form on social media or digital channels, and that information is delivered to you inside the platform.

Are the leads exclusive?

Yes. Every lead is assigned exclusively to the account that receives and pays for it in Ecomfy.

Still, keep in mind prospects come from social media: a person may have filled out forms from other companies before or after ours, because platforms like Facebook or Instagram show similar ads once they detect interest in a topic.

That is why you should contact the lead as fast as possible, ideally within the first 30 to 60 seconds.

Should every agent have their own user?

Yes. The recommendation is that each agent has their own user, their own payment method and their own configuration.

That way results are measured better, lead distribution stays clear, and each agent organizes their own spend correctly.

Lead types and products

What lead types are available today?

There are two main products:

  • Basic Lead (basic/global).
  • Lead Plus (filtered by state).

There may also be special products, inbound calls (Live Calls) or private tests depending on availability, volume, campaign or launch phase.

What information does the Basic Lead include?

It normally includes:

  • First name.
  • Last name.
  • Phone.
  • Email.
  • Type of interest or related category.

It has the widest geographic coverage, but it does not allow filtering by state the way the Lead Plus does.

What information does the Lead Plus include?

Lead Plus includes more information and more targeting. It can normally include:

  • First and last name.
  • Phone and email.
  • State.
  • ZIP code.
  • Age range.
  • Additional information depending on the active form.

Its main advantage is that you can select the states where you are licensed or where you want to work.

What is the main difference between the Basic and the Plus lead?

The Basic one is broader and cheaper, but has fewer filters. The Plus one has more questions, more filters and lets you select specific states; carrying more information, it tends to show higher intent or better fit for agents working by state licenses.

The difference is not only price: the strategy, the available volume and the right way to configure it all change too.

Does the Plus lead have a better contact rate than the Basic one?

It can in many cases, but it is not an automatic guarantee.

It tends to work better because it lets you select specific states and because the prospect fills out more information. It also helps if you call from a number with an area code related to the prospect's state.

Even so, contact rate depends heavily on how fast you call, which number you call from, whether that number shows as spam/scam, whether you use WhatsApp, whether you send SMS, whether you leave voicemail, whether you follow up, and on the agent's skill.

Can I select specific states?

Yes, on the Lead Plus.

Even though you technically can pick a single state, the recommendation is to select several to increase the chance of delivery: 3 to 5 states minimum, and 5 to 10 if you want more volume.

Which states have the most volume right now?

It can change over time, but historically the strongest states in Hispanic volume have been Florida, Texas, California, New Jersey, Illinois, Arizona, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The recommendation is to prioritize licenses in states with real volume before getting licensed in states with little demand.

Can leads from New York or Puerto Rico come in?

Yes. New York and Puerto Rico are available like any other state: select them in your profile or your campaign if you are licensed there — as with every state, the license is your responsibility.

On Lead Plus, if you select specific states, delivery must match those states, except for a prospect entering the wrong state or a technical error that support needs to review.

What do I do if I receive a lead from the wrong state?

If you received a Lead Plus and the state does not match the ones you selected, report it to support right away with the Lead ID.

The team will review whether it was a system error, a prospect error when selecting their state, or another technical issue. If it was a system error, a fix or replacement is reviewed as appropriate; if the prospect filled the form incorrectly, a refund does not necessarily apply.

Can leads be created with more information?

Yes. Products can be built with more questions or more filters: income, savings capacity, residency, phone validation or other relevant data.

Keep in mind that the more questions a form has, the higher the lead cost can be, because it adds friction for the prospect and raises the acquisition cost. More qualified products can be better quality, but they will not carry the same price as a basic lead.

What does lead quality depend on?

On several factors:

  • Advertising channel.
  • Form used.
  • Qualifying questions.
  • Phone validation.
  • Selected state.
  • The prospect's level of intent.
  • How fast the agent makes contact.
  • The agent's follow up.
  • The prospect's real ability to buy and keep the policy.

The goal is not only that you can close: it is that you can get paid and that the end client is viable for the carrier.

Do you offer leads in English?

Yes, English lead campaigns can exist. They are separate campaigns, with different strategies, pricing and availability than the Spanish ones.

Write to support to confirm current availability.

Do you offer health, Obamacare or other verticals?

The company can generate leads in other verticals — health, Obamacare, auto and other products — for higher volume clients or contracts.

For individual agents inside Ecomfy, the current main focus may be life insurance, depending on availability at the time. If you are interested in another vertical, write to support to join the interest or waiting list.

Do you offer leads for agent recruiting?

Today it is not an open product for external clients.

The company may run internal recruiting strategies, but it is not offered generally as a product for other agents to recruit teams.

Campaign setup

What is the ideal setup to receive leads?
  • Have available balance.
  • Set a daily cap.
  • Configure your schedule ahead of time.
  • Keep the campaign active over a wide block of time.
  • Avoid turning it on and off constantly.
  • Always save your changes.
  • Plan from the day before.

The platform works best when you organize ahead of time.

What is the daily cap?

It is the maximum number of leads you want to receive in a day. The minimum is 3 leads per day.

Setting it protects your balance and keeps you from spending more than planned: if you leave it too high, the system can consume your whole available balance while the campaign is active.

How many hours should I keep the campaign active?

It depends on the product:

  • Basic Lead: 4 to 5 active hours minimum.
  • Lead Plus filtered by state: 6 active hours minimum, especially if you have few states selected.

The more limited your state filter, the wider your schedule should be to increase the chance of delivery.

Can I configure the whole week?

Yes, and it is actually the best practice.

The platform lets you plan days and hours for the entire week. That helps the marketing team forecast demand and deliver leads in a more organized way.

Can I change the campaign the same day?

You can, but it is not ideal.

The marketing team plans delivery based on the configurations made the day before. If you change or activate the campaign the same day, delivery may depend on availability, volume and capacity at that moment.

The official recommendation is to leave the campaign configured from the day before.

What happens if I activate the campaign at the last minute?

The team can try to deliver, but the same planning does not exist.

Leads are generated live: this is not a stored database waiting to be sent. That is why planning ahead matters.

Is turning off, pausing or disabling a campaign the same thing?

In practice yes: any of the three stops lead delivery.

Turning it on and off constantly is not recommended, because it can affect the system's planning and distribution.

Is asking for leads one at a time a good strategy?

No. It is not the right way to use the platform.

Asking for one lead, turning the campaign off, waiting, turning it back on and repeating can affect distribution, the marketing team's planning and your account's behavior.

The right way is to set the cap you want, leave an adequate schedule block and let the system distribute leads progressively.

Can I set leads in groups of 2 or 4 at different hours?

You can, but it is not recommended if the intent is to manipulate delivery to receive a few leads at once.

The ideal setup is a correct daily cap, a wide enough block of hours, and letting the system deliver in an orderly way. If leads arrive too close together, review your schedule, your cap and your follow up strategy before turning the campaign on and off constantly.

Why do many leads sometimes arrive all at once?

It can happen for several reasons:

  • The configured schedule is too short.
  • The cap is high for the selected block of time.
  • There is high request volume.
  • The account is competing in a small window.
  • The campaign was off and then activated late.
  • The system is trying to complete delivery within the available range.

To reduce it, widen your hour range, plan from the day before and avoid constant changes.

Can I have several campaigns active at the same time?

Yes. You can have several active campaigns, for example one Basic and one Plus, each with its own cap, schedule and configuration.

Check that both the general status and the specific campaign are active: if either one is off, you will not receive leads.

What should I check if leads are not coming in?
  • That the campaign is active.
  • That the schedule is set correctly.
  • That the cap is not at zero.
  • That you have available balance.
  • That your changes were saved.
  • That the selected states have enough volume.
  • That you did not pause or turn the campaign off recently.
  • That the product is configured correctly.

If everything is correct and no leads arrive, write to support with your account information.

Payments, balance and budget

What are the main prices?
  • Basic Lead (basic/global).
  • Lead Plus (filtered by state).
  • Platform membership: $97 per month.
  • First manual funding: $500 minimum. After that: $200 minimum.

Prices for special products, inbound calls, integrations or private tests can vary and must be confirmed with support before activating.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment methods can include:

  • Credit card.
  • Debit card.
  • American Express.
  • Google Pay.
  • Klarna, subject to a minimum amount and availability.

Availability can vary depending on your account setup and the payment processor.

How does auto-recharge work?

Auto-recharge adds balance automatically when your balance drops below an amount you define. The minimum per auto-recharge is $100.

Example: if you set it so that dropping below $25 triggers a $250 recharge, the system will run that recharge when the condition is met, as long as you have not reached your configured limit.

Can I set a monthly spending limit?

Yes. In your billing settings you can set a limit per day, week or month.

Example: if you want to spend $500 a month maximum, you set that monthly cap and split it into auto-recharges, for example two 0. Once the limit is reached, the system stops recharging automatically.

How do I keep from burning my whole budget in one day?
  • Use the daily cap.
  • Set up your calendar.
  • Define clear schedules.
  • Do not leave campaigns unchecked.
  • Use auto-recharge limits.
  • Review your balance regularly.
  • Scale progressively based on results.
How many leads should I start with?

Start conservatively, normally with 3 to 5 leads per day.

Then, if you have a good contact rate, follow up and closings, you can move up progressively to 5, 7, 10 or more per day. Scaling aggressively is not recommended if you do not yet have a clear contact and follow up process.

How much do I need to spend to sell more policies?

There is no single number for everyone: each agent has to calculate their own cost per close.

The basic formula is: total spend ÷ number of sales = cost per sale.

Example: if you spend $500 and get one sale, your cost per sale is $500. If your goal is 5 sales at that same average cost, you would need roughly $2,500.

The real result depends on your sales skill, speed of contact, follow up, experience, state, product and process quality.

Are there volume discounts or incentives?

In general, prices are already set as wholesale pricing for exclusive, real time leads, so there are no regular discounts for low volume.

For groups with very high spend, the team can evaluate special terms case by case.

Contact rate and follow up

How fast should I call the lead?

Ideally within 30 to 60 seconds of receiving it.

The faster you reach the prospect, the higher the chance of a conversation, an appointment and a close.

What is a good contact rate?

A healthy range is usually between 40% and 50%.

If you are below that, review your contact strategy, your phone number, your hours, your use of WhatsApp and SMS, your voicemails and your follow up.

Some agents with very strong processes reach higher numbers, but that depends on discipline and on the contact system they use.

What do I do if my contact rate is low?

Review:

  • Whether you are calling within the first 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Whether the number you use shows as spam/scam.
  • Whether you are calling from a dialer or CRM with low reputation.
  • Whether you are using WhatsApp.
  • Whether you are sending SMS.
  • Whether you are leaving voicemail.
  • Whether you are calling several times at different hours.
  • Whether you are following up over several days.
  • Whether you rely only on calls and no other channel.

A low contact rate does not always mean the lead is bad: often the problem is in the contact method.

What do I do if the number shows as disconnected?

Report recurring patterns to support, especially if it happens repeatedly.

Also check where you are calling from: in some cases a number can look disconnected or fail to connect properly when called from certain systems, dialers or numbers flagged as spam/scam.

Try from your personal phone, WhatsApp and another physical number before concluding the lead is no good.

Is there a refund if the lead does not answer or the number is disconnected?

No. We do not guarantee contact or provide refunds for leads that do not answer or have a disconnected number.

Results depend on how quickly you contact and follow up with your leads.

The only exception we review is a clear technical issue — for example, a Lead Plus lead delivered from a state you did not select. Contact Support with the Lead ID, and we'll review it.

Why do some weeks have a good contact rate and others a low one?

Contact rate can vary because of:

  • Changes in prospect behavior.
  • Different hours.
  • The quality of the number you call from.
  • Numbers flagged as spam/scam.
  • Changes on social media.
  • Number of attempts.
  • Using or not using WhatsApp and SMS.
  • Incomplete follow up.
  • Differences in the agent's pitch.
  • Call saturation from a single number.

It can also be that the problem is not the lead, but the calling system you use.

Why does my call show up as spam or scam?

It usually happens when calling from virtual numbers, CRMs, dialers or numbers that have made many calls in a short time. Carriers and iPhone/Android filters can flag them.

To reduce this:

  • Use a physical or personal phone.
  • Avoid calling too many leads from a single number.
  • Rotate numbers.
  • Check the number's reputation.
  • Change the number if it is already flagged.
  • Talk to your phone provider.
  • Use number cleanup or reputation tools.
Is it better to call from a personal phone or from a dialer?

For agents with low or medium volume, calling from a physical or personal phone normally works better.

Dialers can help with large lists and many calling rounds, but they are not always ideal for the first call because some numbers can show as spam/scam.

The recommendation is: first call from a physical or personal phone; additional rounds with a dialer, CRM, SMS, WhatsApp or external tools.

Does WhatsApp help with the contact rate?

Yes. WhatsApp can improve the chance of a reply, especially with Hispanic prospects.

The recommendation is to call fast and, if they do not answer, send a WhatsApp message and an SMS. Do not rely on calls alone: many prospects respond better by text.

What should I do if the prospect does not answer the first call?

Follow up. A lead should not be dropped because they did not answer the first call.

  • Call fast.
  • Send WhatsApp.
  • Send SMS.
  • Leave voicemail.
  • Try at different hours.
  • Repeat follow up over several days.
  • Reach back out during peak availability, especially 6 pm to 8 pm.

A large share of the result lives in the follow up.

What message can I send if I am with another client and a new lead comes in?

You can use this message: “Hi, I am your assigned agent. Thanks for requesting life insurance information on social media. I am with a client right now, but I will finish and call you. What time would be a good moment to talk?”

It opens a conversation and keeps the lead from going cold while you finish the other call.

What should I say when I call the prospect?

A simple opening works: “Hi, I am calling about the information you just requested on social media about life insurance. I am your assigned agent, here to help you with that information. Is this the first time you are looking into this, or had you reviewed options before?”

There is no need to mention the exact video or the specific campaign the prospect saw.

Can I know exactly which ad the prospect saw?

Not always: there are multiple campaigns, brands, videos and ad angles running.

The best strategy is not to focus on the exact video, but on the prospect's interest: tell them you are calling about the information they requested on social media and move into qualifying questions.

What do I do if the prospect says they were already contacted?

Keep the conversation going professionally. A prospect may have filled out other forms or been contacted by another company, and that does not mean they are not interested.

The recommended response is: “I understand. We received your recent request for life insurance information. My intention is to help you review options and see whether you qualify for an alternative that makes sense for you.”

Inbound calls (Live Calls)

Does Ecomfy offer inbound calls?

Yes, but it is a limited product and it is not open to all users.

Inbound calls are handled based on availability, meeting requirements, capacity to answer and the program's phase.

How do inbound calls work?

The prospect comes in as a live call and the system routes it to an available agent.

You only pay if you answer and the call meets the established minimum time, normally around 20 seconds connected.

If you do not answer, you do not pay for that call, but the company may still absorb advertising or technology costs for the attempt. That is why only committed, available agents are accepted.

What is the price of inbound calls?

The price can vary depending on the phase, the product, availability and current terms.

It must be confirmed directly with support before activating the service: do not assume a fixed price if the team has not confirmed it.

What are the requirements to receive inbound calls?

Requirements can include:

  • Having enough balance.
  • Having real availability to answer.
  • Answering fast.
  • Having previous experience working leads.
  • Having spent on the platform before.
  • Holding enough licenses.
  • Complying with the program rules.
  • Being approved by the team.

This product is not for agents who have not yet mastered the basic lead process.

Can inbound calls reach my personal phone or a dialer?

They can reach a personal phone or a dialer, as long as you can answer fast.

What matters most is response speed: if the system sends calls and the agent does not answer, they can be removed from the program.

What conversion do inbound calls have?

It depends on the agent's skill, but inbound calls tend to carry higher intent because the prospect is speaking live.

As a conservative reference, you may see one close every several qualified calls, but this varies with experience, follow up, product and closing ability. It should not be taken as a guaranteed result.

CRM, integrations and organization

Can Ecomfy integrate with an external CRM?

In some cases yes. The integration depends on volume, the account, the product type and available technical capacity.

If you have a technical team, API access can be evaluated. If you need our team to configure the integration in your system, an additional cost may apply.

Does Ecomfy replace my CRM?

Not necessarily.

Ecomfy helps you receive and manage leads inside the platform, but if you or your team have your own CRM, you can keep using it for internal processes, advanced follow up, automations and reporting.

How do I mark a lead's status inside Ecomfy?

In the lead detail you can use the disposition and comment fields to mark the outcome, for example:

  • Not contacted.
  • In follow up.
  • Contacted.
  • Appointment set.
  • Sold.
  • Not interested.
  • Wrong number.
  • Did not answer.
  • Pending follow up.

Keeping this updated helps you stay organized and improves the quality of the platform's analytics.

Where do I find the Lead ID?

Every lead has a unique Lead ID inside the platform.

It is the main identifier support uses to review any specific case, so always include it when you write about a lead.

What metrics can I see in the platform?

Metrics can include:

  • Leads purchased.
  • Amount spent.
  • Lead information.
  • Lead ID.
  • Statuses or comments.
  • Acceptance rate, where applicable.
  • Activity history.
  • Billing data.
  • Available balance.

Available metrics can vary depending on the product and the account setup.

Training and best practices

Does Ecomfy offer sales training?

Ecomfy's main service is generating, delivering and managing leads: sales training is not the core product.

Even so, we share general best practices, contact recommendations and processes that have worked for other agents.

Where can I learn to use the platform better?

Review the manual, the training videos and the materials the team shares.

The recommendation is to review the manual at least three times: before buying your first lead, seven days after starting, and thirty days after starting.

The first read helps you understand the platform; the following ones help you fix real mistakes after having worked leads.

What do the top performing agents do?
  • They call fast.
  • They use WhatsApp.
  • They send SMS.
  • They leave voicemails.
  • They make several attempts.
  • They follow up over several days.
  • They review their metrics.
  • They read the manual.
  • They use a physical or personal phone.
  • They avoid relying on dialers alone.
  • They work with discipline.
  • They do not turn campaigns on and off constantly.
  • They scale budget only once they have a process.

Teams, leaders and privacy

Does Ecomfy work for teams with a leader or supervisor?

Yes. Ecomfy can work for leaders who want to help their team get more opportunities.

Still, lead purchasing should stay organized per user so each agent's results are measured correctly.

Is there a leader account?

Past a certain team size, a leader or supervisor account can be evaluated to review team metrics.

Terms can vary depending on volume, number of members and available configuration.

Why are other agents not shown on group calls?

To protect agents' privacy and prevent solicitation or recruiting between teams.

Ecomfy works with different agents, leaders and organizations: group calls exist to share useful information, not to let one group recruit another's agents.

Recordings, AI and what is next

Do you recommend recording calls?

Yes. Recording calls helps improve the process, train agents, review mistakes and build better scripts.

Make sure you comply with the applicable laws and regulations on call recording in your state or country.

What tools can be used to record calls?

You can use external recorders, recording apps, voice notes, Fireflies for digital meetings, or devices like Plaud.

The right tool depends on the call type, the phone used and the applicable regulations.

Is Ecomfy working on artificial intelligence assistants?

Yes. We are working on AI tools to improve processes like follow up, scheduling, call analysis and information organization.

To train these systems better, it can help for agents to share processes, recordings, scripts or real examples, always following the applicable privacy and consent policies.

Cancellation and support

How can I cancel my account?

To request cancellation, the official cancellation form shared by the team must be completed. Cancellation is processed once support confirms it.

If a cancelled account wants to reactivate, a reactivation fee may apply according to the current policy.

How do I contact support?

Support is handled mainly in writing: you can open a ticket from the platform, write to info@ecomfy.app, or use the official number by SMS or WhatsApp (+1 (786) 550-7027), subject to availability.

Direct phone support may not be regularly available at this time.

What information should I send to support?

To get help faster, send:

  • Account name.
  • User email.
  • Lead ID, if applicable.
  • Screenshot, if applicable.
  • A clear description of the problem.
  • Approximate date and time.
  • Related product or campaign.

The clearer the information, the faster the case can be reviewed.

Important rules of use

What is the right way to use Ecomfy?
  • Read the manual.
  • Configure the campaign from the day before.
  • Have available balance.
  • Set the daily cap.
  • Open enough delivery hours.
  • Call fast.
  • Use WhatsApp and SMS.
  • Follow up.
  • Update statuses and comments.
  • Review metrics.
  • Scale progressively.
What practices should be avoided?
  • Turning campaigns on and off constantly.
  • Asking for leads one at a time.
  • Activating campaigns at the last minute and expecting priority.
  • Leaving the cap unchecked.
  • Not calling fast.
  • Using only a dialer with numbers flagged as spam.
  • Not following up.
  • Not reading the manual.
  • Blaming the lead without reviewing the contact process first.
  • Buying more leads than you can handle.
What is the most important rule to get results?

Treat every lead as a live opportunity: contact them fast, across several channels, with consistent follow up.

Buying leads without a process does not guarantee results. The result depends on the combination of lead quality, speed of contact, discipline, follow up and the agent's sales skill.
